The concept is a mix between Melanzasca's story and the Medieval Marginalias.
Marginalias are odd images with all sorts of monsters, half man-beasts, monkeys, and killer rabbits found out in the margins of medieval manuscripts.
In the sculpture as the story of the criminal tattoos, Melanzasca's skin is painted\tattooed as a " Marginalia " to depicts the ancient and belligerant attitude of his gang.
